1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on USS Serenity, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

USS Serenity is a Star Trek-themed roleplay community where users create fictional characters and participate in collaborative storytelling. All character data, medical records, security reports, and roleplay activities are entirely fictional and not based on real events or people.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

• Accounts must be linked to a valid Steam account
• You must be at least 13 years old (Steam's minimum age)
• One account per person
• Account sharing is prohibited
• You are responsible for your account security

4. Fictional Content and Roleplay

4.1 Character Creation

• All characters must fit within the Star Trek universe
• Character names, backgrounds, and activities are fictional
• No real personal information should be used in character profiles

4.2 Roleplay Content

• Medical records, criminal records, and reports are fictional roleplay content
• Content should be appropriate for a general audience
• No real-world politics or controversial topics
• Respect Star Trek's values of diversity and inclusion

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior
• Sharing real personal information of yourself or others
• Impersonating real people or other users
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or damage the system
• Creating inappropriate or offensive content
• Spam or advertising without permission

7. Intellectual Property

9. Account Termination

9.1 Voluntary Termination

You may delete your account at any time using the data rights portal in your profile.

9.2 Involuntary Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms
• Harmful or disruptive behavior
• Extended inactivity (24+ months)

10. Disclaimers

• This service is provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not responsible for user-generated content
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• This is a hobby project, not a commercial service

11. Limitation of Liability

USS Serenity and its administrators shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of this service, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or any other indirect damages.
